Our representatives Messrs Boyle and Dickinson having reported the result of their interview with you this morning, I am authorised, in the event of this Company constructing Electric Tramways in Hong Kong, to say that this Company agrees to reimburse you in one third of the cost not exceeding £3000 of providing a metallic circuit to your system of telephones in Hong Kong. This to be in complete and full discharge of all claims from your Company.

This offer is subject to your confirming the arrangement by not later than Tuesday next, 4th March 1902.
